Celebration of Barbara's Life
Obituary of Barbara Stephenson
Stephenson, Barbara (nee Vincic)
It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Vincic Stephenson announces her passing after a courageous fight against breast cancer, at the age of 56.
Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 28 years, Philip Stephenson, their children, Miles Stephenson and Ashley Stephenson, her parents Radovan and Petra Vincic, her Brother Momcilo Vincic and by her nieces, extended family and dear friends.
Barbara was born in Prnjavor, Yugoslavia (now Bosnia-Herzegovina) and came to the United States with her family on April 30, 1969. She grew up in the Chicago area and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Microbiology from Indiana University and Master's Degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management, also known as Thunderbird.
Barbara was a tolerant, kind, loving and brilliant person, and a friend and inspiration to many. She will be well remembered by her family, and her many friends, business partners and fellow hockey fans around the world.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on October 8, 2018 at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal, 355 Harris Avenue in Bellingham, WA. Memorial donations may be made in Barbara's name to the Breast Cancer Research Fund (https://give.bcrf.org/barbarastephenson)
