Obituary of Bruce Hope
Bruce Hope, 63, was born in South Haven, Michigan to Alfred Hope and Hazel Radtke. The greatest loves in Bruce’s life were his family, music, and the great outdoors. In his youth he moved to California. Later in his teens he learned the guitar and pursued a degree in Botany through California State University. His love of nature was so strong that he led a successful campaign to protect Mineral King Valley from commercial development. He lived and travelled in a way that most people only dream of, hiking, camping and exploring the best that North America had to offer. Everywhere he went he took his guitar and used his music to bring people together. Bruce settled down later in life and got married in the early 90’s, within a few years he had his three cherished daughters. He loved his daughters more than anything and worked his hardest to make sure they had the best in life.
Bruce passed away on April 19th, 2017. He is survived by Josefina Munguia, the mother of his daughters; Angela, Monica, and Laura Hope. His mother, Hazel Radtke of San Diego, CA.
